Prof. José Eduardo Macedo Pezzopane, PhD

Forest Engineer (UFV), Master's in Agrometeorology (ESALQ/USP), and Ph.D. in Forest Sciences (UFV)

Professor at UFES since January 1994, affiliated with the Department of Forestry and Wood Sciences. Researcher on productivity at CNPq, involved in teaching and research in the field of meteorology and forest ecophysiology. He is the coordinator of LMEF-UFES. In 2012, he completed a postdoctoral training at the University of Córdoba (Spain). In the second semester of 2014, he worked as a visiting researcher at Kansas State University (United States). He served as a guest researcher at the University of Córdoba (Spain) in 2022/23.

Talita Miranda Teixeira Xavier, PhD

Biologist (FAFIA), Master's and Ph.D. in Plant Production (UFES)

Currently conducting research on the impact of climate change on eucalyptus clones in greenhouses and carbon dioxide injection chambers (OTCs). Postdoctoral fellow funded by FAPES/CNPq since December 2020, also supporting the research activities of master's and doctoral students at LMEF.

João Vitor Toledo, PhD

Agronomist Engineer (UFES), Master's in Plant Production (UFES), and Ph.D. in Agricultural Meteorology (UFV)

Currently conducting research on the impact of water stress on eucalyptus clones using lysimetry techniques. Postdoctoral fellow funded by CAPES at the laboratory from 2016 to 2021 and fellow of the Institute of Climatic Studies at UFES from 2021 to 2022; currently funded by FAPES. Also providing support for the research conducted by master's and doctoral students at LMEF.

Aline Ramalho dos Santos, PhD

Forest Engineer (IFNMG), Master's in Forest Sciences (UFES), and Ph.D. in Forest Sciences (UFES)

Currently conducting research on the resistance of eucalyptus species to simulated frost in a climate-controlled growth chamber (FITOTRON). Postdoctoral fellow funded by FAPES. Also providing support for the research conducted by master's and doctoral students at LMEF.

Elayne Kátia dos Santos Galvão, MSc 

Forest Engineer (UFRB), Master's in Forest Sciences (UFES), and Ph.D. student in Forest Sciences (UFES)

Ph.D. student currently affiliated with a private company, focusing on the ecophysiology of eucalyptus clones under conditions of extreme minimum temperatures (frost), simulated in growth chambers (Fitotron).

Elbya Leão Gibson, MSc

CAPES scholarship holder, focusing on the use of foliar protectants in eucalyptus seedling planting. Her project is part of the research line on abiotic stress, particularly water and thermal stress, in eucalyptus clones.
